SHIPPING: Australia Post has put up the prices of Express Satchels for the FIFTH time in a year
We have absorbed the additional cost of previous satchel and postage increases but unfortunately we have put up our shipping prices to cover costs and remain viable
We predominantly use the Australia Post Express and Platinum Satchel Service or a Courier Service for heavier orders
We choose these services for safety, reliability and for speed of delivery
Metal Clay Australasia Pty Ltd is a small business and it costs us as much or more to pick and pack and post single small ticket items or multiple small ticket, or lightweight items as it does to pack heavier items weighing up to 500 grams or more
Many items,like gems and other delicate items also take much longer to pick, pack and send
A majority of our orders are shipped using the Australia Post Express or Platinum Express Satchel services. We have experienced losses and missing items using the regular mail service and as a result, we no longer offer that service
We do not profiteer on shipping and handling and in many instances we barely cover our costs which we have to do to remain viable
Metal Clay Australasia Pty Ltd endeavours to be as transparent as possible in what we charge for shipping and would like to remind our customers that the shipping amount can be checked before ordering
