Prometheus™ Copper Clay is the latest Copper Metal Clay to be released. Prometheus™ Copper Clay is an extraordinary medium that provides another amazing creative option for Metal Clay Artists and hobbyists alike. Prometheus™ Copper Clay is very easy to shape by hand or with simple tools. This Copper Clay is a quick fire medium that only needs 30 minutes of kiln firing at 850 °C. Although it does not need to be fired in a pan with activated carbon, the activated carbon method can certainly be used as another firing option. Prometheus™ Copper Clay is a mixture of micron sized copper powder, water and organic binder which turns into pure, solid copper when it is fired. It can be moulded, textured or turned on a potter's wheel. Prometheus™ Copper Clay can be enamelled, fired with most laboratory created gemstones, pre-tested natural stones, glass, ceramics or porcelain. It is available in both Clay and Syringe form.
